NDPE IRF
Aligned with Apical’s commitment to adhering to NDPE principles throughout our operations, we have worked
alongside industry partners to create the NDPE IRF, a monitoring tool that allows companies to measure
and monitor their progress towards NDPE commitments. In 2023, we achieved 92.7% for the Delivering
Category of No-Deforestation for our suppliers’ risk profile. This achievement is reflected in our annual data
verification process. The NDPE IRF score has been independently verified by Control Union, a reputable
third-party organisation that we appointed for verification purposes.

The NDPE IRF score tracks the progress of mills which is NDPE compliant delivering to a refinery. In 2023,
93% of the CPO volume delivered to our refineries are from NDPE compliant mills.
